Heal with confidence.
Pure Mama's Complex Scar Serum is a clinically formulated, multi-active treatment designed to visibly reduce the appearance of scars — from C-section incisions to perineal tears, stretch marks, and surgical wounds. Its lightweight, fast-absorbing formula works deep into the skin to soften, flatten, and fade scar tissue over time.
Powered by a blend of Centella Asiatica, Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Rosehip Oil, this serum supports collagen synthesis, reduces discolouration, and improves overall skin texture. Gentle enough for sensitive post-birth skin, yet effective enough for long-standing scars.

Use
Once your wound has fully closed and your healthcare provider has cleared you, apply a small amount of the Complex Scar Serum to the scarred area 2–3 times per day.
Gently massage in circular motions until fully absorbed. For best results, use consistently for a minimum of 8–12 weeks, and combine with the Pure Mama Silicone Scar Strip for enhanced scar flattening and occlusion.
Avoid applying to open wounds or broken skin. Always patch test before first use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.

FAQ
When can I start using the Complex Scar Serum after a C-section or perineal tear?
Wait until your wound has fully closed and your healthcare provider has given you clearance — typically around 6–8 weeks post-birth. Do not apply to open, weeping, or infected wounds.
Can I use this serum on old scars, or is it only for new ones?
Both. The Complex Scar Serum is effective on both new and established scars. Older scars may take longer to respond and require more consistent use over a longer period.
Is this serum safe to use while breastfeeding?
The formula is designed to be gentle and safe for postpartum use. However, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider or midwife before use if you have any concerns, particularly when applying near areas close to the chest.
How long will it take to see results?
Most users begin to notice softening and fading within 4–6 weeks of consistent use. Significant improvement in scar texture and colour is typically observed at 8–12 weeks. Results vary based on scar age, skin type, and consistency of use.
Can I use the serum with the Silicone Scar Strip?
Yes. For best results, apply the serum first and allow it to absorb fully, then apply the Silicone Scar Strip over the top. The two products work synergistically — the serum treats at the cellular level while the strip provides occlusion and mechanical flattening.
Is it suitable for stretch marks as well?
Yes. While formulated with surgical and birth-related scars in mind, the active ingredients are also effective on stretch marks, helping to fade discolouration and improve skin texture over time.
