Little People, BIG DREAMS | Prince

One of the most original performers in music history — and he could not read a note.

Prince was obsessed with music from a young age. Piano, drums, guitar, vocals — he taught himself all of it by ear. Funk, disco, soul and almost everything else went into songs that are still loved everywhere.

The message children take from this one is simple and worth hearing: Prince knew he did not have to be like anyone else to be a star. There was no one quite like him, and that was the whole point.
