There's a point where a child's builds outgrow the squares. The tower wants to be taller, the ball run wants a longer drop, the castle wants a proper balcony — and it all keeps folding in on itself. Rectangles are the piece that fixes that, and the clear ones do it while catching every bit of light in the room.

Twelve pieces in three lengths — two, three and four standard squares long — so they slot straight into the collection you already have and immediately span further than a square can. Used as a roof, a bridge or a bracing rail, they take the wobble out of big builds. Used on a window sill or a light panel, they throw soft, icy refractions across the floor.

Clear tiles also do something the colours don't: they let the structure show. Children can see straight through to how a build actually holds together, which makes them genuinely interesting to a child working out why this tower stands and the last one didn't.
