Everyday babywearing, made beautifully simple.
If you're after a baby carrier you'll actually reach for every day — the supermarket trip, the school run, the walk that finally gets them to sleep — the Ergobaby Omni Lite is it. Newborn-ready from 3.2kg, simple enough to put on one-handed, and light enough to live in the bottom of your nappy bag.
It's the same patented ergonomic support Ergobaby built its name on, pared back to the essentials. The adjustable bucket seat holds baby in a healthy, natural seated position, while padded Cross-Back (X) straps and lumbar support spread their weight across your back and hips rather than hanging off your shoulders — so those longer wears stay comfortable for both of you.
And because it's a one-position carrier, there's nothing to learn. Clip the waistband, slip on the straps, adjust, go. Custom triple-layer mesh keeps you both cool through a NZ summer, and the whole thing goes straight in the machine when it needs to.
Why parents love the Omni Lite
Newborn ready from day one: Suitable from 3.2–15.9kg (approx. 0–24 months) with no separate infant insert to buy, store or lose.
Patented ergonomic support: Ergobaby's industry-leading adjustable bucket seat positions baby's hips and spine correctly and holds them close — acknowledged as hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI).
Comfortable for the wearer, too: Even weight distribution, cushioned shoulder straps and padded lumbar support mean you're not the one paying for a long walk.
Genuinely easy to use: Quick on, quick off, with intuitive adjustment points and easy Cross-Back (X) straps — no tying, no tutorials.
Cool and breathable: Custom triple-layer mesh maximises airflow for all-day wear, summer included.
Grows with baby: A supportive panel that keeps baby comfortable right through their changing stages, birth to toddling.
